Explore historic adobe buildings, bustling artisan shops, and hidden alleys, capturing their timeless beauty through your lens. Learn to master composition, camera technique, and storytelling as you photograph the heart of Albuquerque’s history and culture.

• Hands-on beginning to intermediate techniques of camera techniques and composition.

• Pre-workshop online overview 2-3 days prior to workshop.

• Composition and framing techniques

• Using natural light and shadows

• Storytelling through photography

• Candid street photography basics

• Tips for post-processing and enhancement

Fitness Level: This workshop involves moderate walking on mostly flat surfaces within Old Town Albuquerque. Participants should be comfortable walking short distances and standing for extended periods.

Workshop Includes:

• 1-hour online overview session (pre-workshop)

• Hands-on instruction and guided photo walk

• Post-processing tips using smartphone apps or software

• Workshop materials (map, shot list, and photography tips)

Workshop Does Not Include:

• Transportation to/from Old Town Albuquerque

• Meals or snacks beyond provided refreshments

• Photography equipment

• Extra batteries and memory cards (if using a camera)

• Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing

• Notebook and pen for taking notes

Refund Policy:

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the workshop date will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop will not be refunded but may be applied to a future workshop.

• If the workshop is canceled by the instructor, participants will receive a full refund.
